It's hard to tell on the light snakes from your description, but if they're imported in a lot like that....they are unproven, but may be interesting project snakes. Raise them up and give em a try.
As to the odd snake with the broken feeling back. My rule is, if the snake doesn't look feel or act normal (not morph wise but behavior and movement wise), there is something wrong.
