Any Thoughts or Experiences with Melanistic Ball Pythons?

This past Saturday I drove down to the Raleigh show and made the mistake of going by Ben Siegel's table. I saw a little dark jewel that turned out to be a female. Of course she went home with me. My thought was to breed her to my albino male when she is of age. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Once she settles and starts eating, I"ll post a couple of pictures!
