I don't use a damp towel over the lid of the aquarium but I do mist the whole thing once daily or every other day whether he's in shed or not. But I also have lids that I built that only have a screen/vent on one side of the aquarium. And I use a ceramic heat emitter that tends to dry things out. But even the snakes in my racks I spray everyday/every other.


:Everytime Saige comes down with the dull skin and milky-blue eyes I mist-spray the cage with warm water and lay a warm damp towel over the top of the screen (she's in a 40 gal. breeder tank). Is this a bad thing?
