In Reply to: WHAT ???? spider ball for $17,500.... posted by Will Slough Reptiles on July 09, 2002 at 22:28:12:

Hi Will, it is unfortunate that your questions of the reptilian stock market have turned into this ugly page of remarks but sadly you brought it upon yourself and these questions would have been better discussed between yourself and Kevin.
If you look at the facts in plain print you paid $25,000 six months ago for your Spider-Ball and an animal of the very same age Kevin is offering for $32,000, therefor your investment has gained a value of $7,000. Many investors wish the stock market paid so nicely. If your worried about your investment cash out now and reinvest your funds. I am sure many would step up to the plate to buy your female for $25,000 or even a bit more. Being that you bought this young beautiful animal for the pure love of the breed, simply enjoy her, wait and breed her, your investment will pay off extremely well. If you play your cards right you may be responsible for the next designer morph of Ball Python.

GOOD LUCK!!

I am disturbed by the ad posted by nerd on the classifieds for a female spider webbed ball for $17,500. Why would the price drop $7500 since October of 2001? Is this because there is so many of these in existance? At this rate, will spiders be down to $10000 by the end of this year? In a phone call 4 days a go with kevin (which was prompted by my post on spider balls days a go) I was told by him that this would not happen. Now you tell me what is going on and I don't want to hear that this is just a simple market adjustment.

:
: I hope that this does not spark another phone call from one of kevin,s associates to one of my friends to have them come down a shut me up about this subject. My friend who was contacted by the associate, played me the message on saturday,he played this message for me because this offended him to know that this strong arm tactic exists in the hobby.

: In my private emale, kevin said I was shooting my own foot off. How can I do this when he is holding the gun?
