Some more info about Macropisthodon rudis, it is non-venomous snake but not rear-fanged snake. It has two big teeth within its mounth so some people will think is it rear-fanged snake. One of the famous pet book form Japan said that it is oviparous but the official book from China "Fauna Sinica Reptilia Vol.3 Squamata Serpentes" said that it is Viviparous. It will take earth worm, lizard, frog and toad. Max record of female is 1.2 meter. There are 4 species of Macropisthodon in South-East Asia. Macropisthodon is the only species available in China.
