OK, Elaphe porphyracea spp. may have a wide distribution range in China and northern SE Asia, but that doesn't make it 'not rare' though. Tiger (subspecies) has a range covering the whole of China up to Russia, and spread across SE Asia to Pakistan westward (alright, used to), will you say it will be 'easy to find in the wild'???
