: Can I ask what the paper is on? From your location I presume it would be something to do with the venom. Anyway I'd be interested to hear (more for personal interest than work). Thanks.
Sorry it took me so long to reply, been swamped. The research is dealing with aspects of Australian venoms (toxicology, LD50s, as well as pharmaceutical design). The Echiopsis genera is quite understudied and the snakes are of relatively unknown potency despite E. curta bites on record as severe.
