you and I know that such foods are not really complete nutrition. In keeping snakes, it's inevitable that they are fed rodents, birds or lizards.
My wife frequently freaks out that I bring home mice for my snakes. Presently, I'm also breeding some mice and am hoping that my gerbils deliver soon. In fact, rearing that is about as time consuming and absorbing as herping itself.
If I were to say go ahead and give them animal "spare parts," that would be bad for your snakes. So, the only thing I can suggest is that you resolve this issues with your parents. You owe it to your pets to give them the best possible care.
