: firstly, there is this pet shop in KL, in megamall. the shop sells ball pythons and other snakes too. they have lizards and other exotic animals. it is this extremely large pet shop, you cannot miss it. it is a perfectly legal pet shop, and keeping snakes in malaysia is legal, unlike here in singapore.

: snake keepers in singapore keep snakes illegally. there are some people who work for the shipping industry or something of that line, and they import snakes in. however, I must reiterate that they are people who love snakes too, and take good care of them once the snake arrives. that is where we buy snakes from them. they are all shipped from the US, all captive bred.

: getting a snake shouldn't be much of a problem since it is not illegal. you just have to get a license, that is what I heard.
