I always use USPS and I haven't had a frog arrive dead in about 2 years. USPS is also automatically insure for up to $500. They are usually pretty reliable, but sometimes the package might arrive a few hours or maybe a day late. But, they are very good about taking care of live animal packages and they won't leave them out in the cold, and I have had a few packages arrive late, and I haven't had any problems. I do not think shipping would affect the long term health of frogs.
