that plants looks like a Vriesea racinae at t&c heres the desripion:
Species, native to Brazil. Epiphytic, prefers medium to low light. Has 3/4" wide dark green, red spotted leaves with a slight curl at the tips forming a curly rosette. Sends up a short yellow flower spike. Stays small, maturing at about 4" diameter. Small leaf funnels hold water. Sold as a mature plant in a 3" pot.

ill post a pic. i dont think its a Neoregelia species, but it looks the same and is about the size
