In Reply to: TropicAire Humidifier & Air Exchanger...... posted by Buffnewt on November 25, 2002 at 11:25:13:
Hi,
I have one and found it to be just about useless. Did not raise the humidity at ALL and even with a pump slightly stronger than that recommended the air coming out was faint and barely able to be felt with my hand. I had to put it up to my lip to make sure air was even coming out...and the pump (a Rena) which is supposed to be quiet...not quiet in my opinion. I would not recommend one to raise humidity because it won't (maybe in a tiny tank). It might be of use only if you have a closed tank and no ventilation fans to provide fresh air over time.

:Has anyone heard of this product. I saw it at a pet store.
:It provides humid air to your enclosed aquarium or terrarium. It is made for tropical & sub-tropical reptiles & amphibian. An air pump is required for it to run. It looked like a product I could use. It cost $20 without a pump. So I am just wondering if anyone has heard of it, and knows more about it? Please reply thanks
