Mark, Here's how I do it.
Buy like 5 dz.adult crix and put them insome kind of container like a critter keeper and but a small dish of soiin it.I use the expanded coconut fibers.and in a few days they should be laying eggs in it.Put it in a warm place somewhere around 80f. but make sure the soil is moist and it takes like 2 weeks but you should have some pinheads.I keep them in a small plastic shoe box after they hatch.They will dry out easily so make sure they have some kind of moisture in with them.Hope this helps.Iusually get like 200 or so so depending on how many you need you might want more adults..........Mark W.
