I would still recommend you not do it. Leopard geckos are "troopers," in the light sense. I've seen leos go through heck and back with little or no lasting effects. They truly are some of the hardiest lizards around. Placing one in a very large travel terrarium or even a ventilated Rubbermaid tub would be sufficient for two days without taking any risks. If you don't already have such things, getting them would be a good idea, because then you'd have them for future use such as traveling, temporary housing while cleaning, etc.
