Green anole on my fence

I saw this bright green little guy on my fence and decided to take a picture of him. So I went inside and got my camera, but when I got back outside, I found that my batteries were dead in my camera. So then I went back inside to get new batteries and when I got back outside... the bugger had turned poo brown!!!
