I just keep my GB at room temp and hes done great for over 2 years. I have about an inch of aspen, a water bowl, two pieces of drift wood and a hide cave that i have put extra aspen around so its like an underground area for him. He is one of my tamest snakes but can move pretty quickly come feeding time. good luck.
