Ben,

I too felt that way about carefresh for the first few months I used it, but then I found out that it is extremely dessicating. I repeatedly had snakes have trouble shedding when kept of that litter. I finally had to go back to Aspen.

A pity, as I liked carefresh for all the other reasons you mention.
