Longer term purveyors of this forum might recall my lamenting the lack of any discussion (never mind availability) of these leggless-gators. Being in Az, going out & catching em is not an option.
Its great being able to finally post... I rc'd 5 neonate O. ventralis yesterday ($103.), all w/ tails complete! They are already munching tiny crickets & digging tunnels in their wet sand.
I hope to establish a colony & eventually have enough to produce feeders for regal ringnecks & corals (am i dr. evil or what?).
I nearly had a 3-some about a year ago from Glades but the donkeyburrows sold em out from under me while we were discussing shipping.
Good things come to he who waits eh?
Now if I could only get my hands on a pair of Mussuranas....
