: you don't need to take your alligator lizard to a vet or get mite spray, i'll tell you somthing that is much better and cheeper to, use just regulare olive oil from the store, just dip your fingeres in the oil and cover the lizard (or snake if u have any) and let them sit for about 2-3 hours and rinse them off and that it. this is realy safe i use this method any time any of reptiles have any mites and also some of the mite sprays if u use to much u can poison your retile but olive oil dosn't do anything to them good luch.
