I don't know what type of alligator it is (nothern or southern) but I know its a boy because one time I picked him up and he got mad at me and everted his hemipenis. I also caught him last december, and he was only a few inches long, so he can't be very old. I don't know why he's so enormous. I also have another that I caught at the same time.
