I found this little guy out in my yard while diging a fence post hole. He seemed to be in deep brumation in some sort of a burrow... I'm glad I didn't inadvertantly cut him right in half with my shovel! I really hope my waking him up, then putting him back where I found him (realativly close anyway) after some brief photos did not result in any upset of his "biological clock", or harm to him.


but isn't he/she beautiful... I just have to know what it is?!
