I know that Dangerous Snakes of Africa by Branch and Spawls covers the whole continent so that will at least keep you out of trouble. But there is a lot to learn about Ethiopian herps. Take some photos and keep records of when and where you see herps. You might be able to publish what you find in one of the African or European herp journals.
