looks like i have many years of schooling ahead of me. but thats ok as long as in the end i get to help animals. i called the humane society today to get involved with reptile rescue in my area. at least i will able to help out in some small way. we also have the high desert museum here, and i am going to call them as well. i have another question. how much math is involved in being a veterinarian? i am not good with math. i have taken algebra 1 three times and still not passed. but i really have the heart and drive to help the animals, and cant believe that this would be something that will hold me back. perhaps i will have to find a tutor:)
thanks again for all the replies. you were all very helpful.

Merry Christmas
