:Wow! That is a diffucult topic. I think a HUGE problem with exotics is that people don't do their reseach and really don't know how to handle them. For example...an exotic vet down here got her igana from someone who had kept it for 7 years with no heat or light and fed it only cole slaw. The igana was in a coma for 3 months and its tail had ot be amputated but with the proper care for this vet who adopted it, it is 15 years old.
:I don't know how long domestic reptiles would last in the wild. I would suspect not very long b/c they have been given all their food. OH! I got a good one for you. what about people who flush their crocs down the toliet and they end up in the sewer system. I know new york city had a problem with this a few years ago. I guess you can also talk about why it is illegal to sell torts in NJ. Good luck.....let us know what your final result looks like
