My interest in herps was fostered about 3 years ago by my two sons, now 10 and 11 years old. They started out by requesting books from the library or bookstore. My now 11 year old spent $35 of his 8 yr old birthday money on a book about snakes and reptiles. We now have 62 snakes and are incubating our first clutch of ball python eggs due in a couple of weeks.
