Being a North American I am not quite sure how things are dealt with in Europe, but in theory you will certainly need a CITES appendix 2 export permit
from Spain. Both Spain and GB are separate CITES countries.
When you enter GB the permit would probably have to be given to customs or the equivalent authority
There are phone numbers on the CITES site attached. You'll have to call them and enquire as to procedure
:I might be moving to the UK for work (I currently live in Spain) and I would like to bring my BP with me. Does anyone know the steps I would need to carry this out? Do I have to do anything at all since they're both EU countries? Differences between taking it to the UK by airplane or car? If I were to take it by car, does the police stop cars before entering the euro-tunnel or after exiting? Thanks for any replies.
